Requirements for Vehicle Rental

A valid full driving licence for the relevant vehicle category is required, held for the duration specified in the Rental Agreement. Booking and Payment Process
- Reservations for our car hire services in North Wales can be made via our website, over the phone, or directly at our local office. A deposit may be necessary to confirm your booking. Full payment and a security deposit are usually required at the time of vehicle pickup. All prices are listed in British Pounds (£) and include VAT as applicable. We accept major credit and debit cards, securely processed through trusted payment providers.
Vehicle Pickup and Drop-off
- At the time of collection, it is important to conduct a thorough examination of the vehicle and promptly report any pre-existing damage. A vehicle condition report will be created and signed by both parties. When returning the vehicle, it should be in the same condition as when it was collected, with allowances made for normal wear and tear. Any new damage will be evaluated and charges may apply. The vehicle should be returned with the same fuel level as received; refueling fees will be incurred if the fuel level is lower. Insurance and Liability Terms

You will be liable for any damage or loss up to the insurance excess amount, unless covered by supplementary insurance. Damage resulting from negligence, misuse, or violation of these Terms remains your responsibility, irrespective of insurance coverage.
6. Modifications and Cancellations
Cancellation and amendment policies differ based on the type of booking and the notice provided. For specific details, please consult your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement. Charges may apply for late cancellations or no-shows, so it is advisable to review your options carefully.
7. Restricted Activities
Prohibited uses of the vehicle:
- The vehicle must not be used for illegal activities or purposes. Activities such as racing, rallying, or off-roading are prohibited. Transporting hazardous materials is not allowed. Sub-letting the vehicle or permitting unauthorized drivers is strictly forbidden. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is unacceptable. The vehicle should not be used for purposes it was not designed for, nor should passenger or weight limits be exceeded. Any driving outside the specified geographical limits requires prior authorization.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental cancellation and extra fees.
Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent allowed by law in North Wales, Car Hire will not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, related to your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims will not exceed the rental amount paid in the last 12 months. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence or fraud.
